When the Indian team enters the third and final match of the ODI series against Australia on Wednesday (March 22), its aim will be to blunt the edge of the visiting fast bowlers under the leadership of Mitchell Starc. The three-match series is tied at 1-1. The Indian team will be eyeing the sixth ODI series win against Australia. Australia’s left-arm fast bowler Starc has taken eight wickets in the first two matches. He took three wickets in the first match in Mumbai and five wickets in the second match played in Visakhapatnam. In the second match, India had lost all its ten wickets against the fast bowlers.

India’s top-order batsmen skipper Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill and Suryakumar Yadav will have to be at their best against a high-powered bowling attack. Starc has troubled the right-handed batsmen a lot with his pace and swing. Indian batsmen need to come out with a strong mindset with a change of strategy.
