The KG Awards – Edupreneurship Excellence Awards 2025 (Chennai Chapter) marked a historic milestone in recognising educational innovation and entrepreneurship in Tamil Nadu. Presented by KG Awards, the prestigious ceremony was held on November 18, 2025 at the Chettinad Rani Seetha Auditorium, Chennai, bringing together educators, entrepreneurs, and social leaders to celebrate achievements that contribute to the advancement of the education sector.
The event served as a powerful platform to honour edupreneurs who are transforming education through innovation, skill development, and entrepreneurship initiatives. Hundreds of participants attended the ceremony, creating an inspiring atmosphere that reflected the growing importance of educational entrepreneurship in shaping the future of Tamil Nadu.
The Chennai Chapter 2025 event represented the first edition of the KG Awards platform, establishing a new stage for recognising institutions and individuals who are making meaningful contributions to education and community development.
The ceremony was honoured by the presence of several distinguished personalities including Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, Former Governor of Telangana and Puducherry, Former Justice Dr. K. Venkatesan, Former Chief Commissioner of Income Tax V. Mahalingam, IRS, and Dr. S. Sampath, Editor and Publisher of Thozhil Vazhikatti Monthly Magazine, Dr. D. Hari Prasad, Chief Advisor of Ayyaa Foundations, Ms. Radhika Prabhakaran GM of KG Awards and V D Jeyakumar Assistant General Manager of Kalsun Groups.
Their inspiring speeches emphasised the importance of education, leadership, social responsibility, and the development of students’ skills. The KG Awards platform was conceptualised by Dr. S. Praveen, Founder and Chairman of Kalsun Groups, KG Guidance, and KG Awards, who envisioned the awards as a platform that would showcase Tamil Nadu’s educational achievements at both national and international levels.
With more than 17 years of experience in business, education, and consultancy, Dr. Praveen has been actively working to create opportunities that empower students and entrepreneurs.
During the event, he emphasised the vision behind the initiative: ensuring that graduates become multi-skilled professionals capable of securing employment within 30 days of completing their education.
