WPL 2023: Women cricketers of ICC member countries do not get facilities, American bowler’s pain

American fast bowler Tara Norris believes that women cricketers from ICC member nations (Associate nations) have to struggle for funds and facilities. She looks to make the associate nations proud with her performances in the Women’s Premier League (WPL). WPL will start from March 4. Norris has been associated with the team by Delhi Capitals for Rs 10 lakh.

Norris said, “I want to make all the Associate countries proud. I am representing all these players in WPL. A lot of women cricketers are struggling for funds and facilities. I want to raise awareness for associate countries. I hope that next year more and more cricketers from associate countries will participate in this league.

Norris has come to India for the first time

Norris has played five T20 Internationals in which he has taken four wickets. Delhi will start their campaign in the league on March 5. Nauris said, “Some world class players will play in this league. I will train with some of them and may even play with some of them. I will try to learn as much as possible from him. I have come to India for the first time. I will also get to know about the conditions and weather here.
