WPL 2023: Sania will work on the mental strength of RCB players, said – knows nothing about cricket

In the Women’s Premier League (WPL), Royal Challengers Bangalore has appointed Sania Mirza as the team’s mentor. Tennis ace Sania does not know much about cricket but she believes that she can prove to be helpful in increasing the mental strength of the players of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) cricket team.

RCB’s first match will be against Delhi Capitals on Sunday. Sania said that I do not know anything about cricket. When I was made a mentor, I was thinking what would I do and talk to the girls. I have recently retired from tennis so was thinking about my next step in life. My endeavor will be to help women sportspersons in India and around the world.

Sania shared these things on social media in a video while interacting with the players of the team. He said that in the last twenty years it has been learned that working on the mental aspect helps in doing better.

RCB’s first match with Delhi Capitals

The team of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will take on the field against Delhi Capitals in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) on Sunday. In this match, the RCB team has an upper hand in front of Delhi Capitals. Meg Lanning is captaining Delhi. Australia recently won the Women’s T20 World Cup title under Lanning’s leadership. At the same time, the captaincy of RCB is in the hands of India’s star batsman Smriti Mandhana.
