Umesh Yadav: Ignored from Team India, questions were starting to arise, now the time is being made for the batsmen in England

London: Fast bowler Umesh Yadav got a chance to play for the Indian team only on a few occasions. He was part of the Test team on the England tour, but did not find a place in the playing XI. In January, he played the last match for India. In England itself, the county team Middlesex (Middlesex County Cricket Club) had tied up with him for this season. Umesh is currently participating in the Royal London Cup and is creating havoc with his ball.

5 wickets
Middlesex face Durham in Group A of the Royal London Cup. On the second ball of this match, Umesh Yadav bowled Durham opener Graham Clarke without opening the account. In his second over, he also dismissed skipper Scott Borthwick (1). Umesh did not stop here. He then took three more wickets and Durham’s innings was reduced to 268 runs on an easy to bat pitch.

Second best performance of career
In 9.2 overs, Umesh Yadav made 5 batsmen walk for 33 runs. Three wickets in this were from bowled. Umesh Yadav has taken 5 wickets for the second time in List A cricket i.e. 50 overs cricket. This is also his second best performance. Due to his performance, Middlesex won the match by a huge margin of 9 wickets. The team achieved the target of 269 runs in the 42nd over itself.

ODIs not played after 2018
Umesh Yadav played the last ODI match for India against West Indies in 2018. At the same time, he got a chance to play the last T20 International match in 2019. Only after that he plays only Tests. In that too, only selected matches get a place in the playing XI. 34-year-old Umesh made his debut for India in 2010. He has 158 wickets in Tests, 106 in ODIs and 9 wickets in T20Is.
