This penny share ran like a rocket amidst the earthquake in the market, the price is at the level of Rs 60

The stock market has been in selling mode for the last few days due to global tension. However, amid this environment, there is demand for some penny stocks. One such penny share is that of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank. On Thursday, the last trading day of the week, this stock rose by about 3% and the price reached the level of Rs 60. A day before this, on Thursday also, the stock had touched a new 52-week high. Last year in the month of January the share was at a low of Rs 30.85. This is also the 52-week low of the stock.

Recently, Ujjivan Small Finance Bank said that its total deposits till December 31, 2025 stood at ₹ 42,219 crore whereas a year ago it was ₹ 34,494 crore. This shows an increase of 22.2% on an annual basis. Compared to the previous quarter, deposits grew by 7.5% to ₹39,211 crore as of September 30, 2025. CASA deposits grew 33.1% year-on-year to ₹11,533 crore, while the CASA ratio increased to 27.3% from 25.1% a year ago. The credit-deposit ratio stood at 87.8% as of December 31, 2025. The total loan book grew by 21.6% year-on-year to ₹37,055 crore as against ₹30,466 crore as of December 31, 2024. Loan book grew 7.1% quarter-on-quarter to ₹34,588 crore. Housing loans, including micro mortgages, grew 49.6% year-on-year to ₹9,560 crore, while MSME loans grew 69% to ₹2,863 crore.

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank has reported a net profit of Rs 122 crore in the second quarter of the current financial year (2025-26), which shows a quarter-on-quarter growth of 18.2 percent. The bank’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Sanjeev Nautiyal had said – We have achieved balanced growth in this quarter, which led to effective utilization of surplus cash and our loan-deposit ratio reached 88.2 percent. Total deposits stood at Rs 39,211 crore, which is 15.1 percent higher annually.
