Probable playing XI of Indian team
India has gone to Australia with a strong team for the T20 World Cup 2022. However, only 11 players will get a chance to play in the playing XI. The chances of a change in the Indian team’s last-11 top order in the tournament are negligible unless a player is rested or injured.
The starting four players are scheduled to play in almost all matches. In which KL Rahul, Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav with captain Rohit Sharma. Rohit and Rahul will open for the team while Virat Kohli will bat at number three. On the other hand, Suryakumar Yadav’s place will be at number four.
However, for the fifth place in the team, the fight between Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik can be seen. Pant’s recent form has not been anything special while Karthik has proved himself at every opportunity. In such a situation, considering the role of a finisher, Karthik can be kept in the last-11 in place of Pant.
Apart from this, all-rounder Hardik Pandya will be the best option to bat at the sixth position. Apart from this, Patel can often be placed in seventh place in the team. At the same time, the picture of bowlers in the lower order is almost clear.
However, there can be a competition between Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal. If Ashwin is included in the playing XI, he can contribute with the bat while Chahal can leave Ashwin behind with his clever bowling.
Apart from this, Mohammed Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Arshdeep Singh are set to play in the fast bowlers while Harshal Patel may have to wait.
