T20 World Cup 2022: All teams of Super-12 confirmed in T20 World Cup, know who came in India’s group

Melbourne: In the T20 World Cup 2022, all the teams of Super-12 have been confirmed. Apart from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Australia, England, South Africa, Afghanistan and New Zealand had a place in the direct Super-12. Group matches were held between 8 teams. They were divided into two groups. Two teams from both the groups have made it to the Super-12. These include Sri Lanka, Ireland, Zimbabwe and the Netherlands.

Who’s place in India’s group

Apart from the Netherlands, Zimbabwe has got a place in India’s group. Zimbabwe defeated Scotland in the last group match. With this win, the team secured the first position in Group B. The second team from their group to reach the Super-12 is Ireland. Ireland will remain in Group 1 of the Super-12. Where he is accompanied by Australia, England, New Zealand, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka.

When will India face Zimbabwe?

Pakistan, Netherlands, Bangladesh, South Africa and Zimbabwe are in Group-2 of Super-12 with the Indian team. Will play its first match against Pakistan on 23 October. After this, the team will meet the Netherlands on 27th. On October 30, South Africa and on November 2, India will face Bangladesh. The Indian team will take on Zimbabwe in their last Super-12 match on 6 November.

Australia-New Zealand first match

In the T20 World Cup 2022, the first match of Super-12 will be played between New Zealand and Australia. This match will be played on 22 October at Sydney Cricket Ground. The second match will be between England and Afghanistan in Perth. The first match of Group-2 of Super-12 will be played between India and Pakistan at MCG. The match between India and Zimbabwe will be the last group match of the tournament. The semi-finals will be played on 9 and 10 November. The final of the tournament will be played on November 13.
