Swati Maliwal received rape threat, steps were taken against Sajid Khan

Swati Maliwal is finding it difficult to write a letter to Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur against MeToo accused Sajid Khan. Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal informed news agency ANI on Wednesday that she was receiving rape threats. He told that ever since he raised his voice against filmmaker Sajid Khan, he has been constantly being warned on social media.

Not only this, Swati Maliwal has also demanded the Delhi Police to arrest those who allegedly threatened her with rape. Swati tweeted in this regard and wrote, “Ever since I wrote a letter to the I&B minister to oust Sajid Khan from Bigg Boss, I have been receiving rape threats on Instagram. Obviously, that is our job. Want to stop it. I am complaining to Delhi Police. Register an FIR and investigate. Those who are behind them, arrest them.”

Let us tell you that the chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women recently tweeted against Sajid Khan. He wrote, ‘Sajid Khan was accused of sexual harassment by 10 women during the MeToo movement. All these complaints show the disgusting mentality of Sajid. Now such a person has been given a place in Bigg Boss, which is completely wrong. I have written a letter to Anurag Thakur ji to get Sajid Khan removed from the show.

Let us tell you that Sajid Khan has returned to the film industry after a long time. Sajid was suspended for a year by the Indian Film and Television Directors Association (IFTDA) in the year 2018 after Sajid Khan was accused of sexual harassment by several women. Sajid’s entry in Bigg Boss was also questioned by many film personalities.
