The Supreme Court on Saturday extended the interim bail granted to Amrapali Group founder Anil Sharma on the ground of medical condition during a special sitting. A bench of Chief Justice of India UU Lalit and Justice Bela M. Trivedi granted interim relief to Anil Sharma in view of his medical condition.

The court said the extension of interim bail granted to Anil Sharma would be for a reasonable period depending on his medical condition. It will be determined based on their medical condition. The court has said that the interim relief given to Anil Sharma will continue till further orders.

Meanwhile, the court also extended the interim bail granted to promoter Shiv Priya. The court has asked Shiv Priya to surrender after two weeks on the expiry of her interim bail. At the same time, advocate ML Lahoti, appearing for the home buyers, has opposed the bail plea of ​​Shiv Priya.

On the other hand, the court has refused to grant bail to the then Chief Financial Officer Chandra Prakash Wadhwa on medical grounds. However, the court has given Chandra Prakash Wadhwa the liberty to file a fresh bail plea on medical grounds or to challenge the earlier order denial of bail.
