Stock Market Holidays: Indian stock market closed today, trading will be done in the evening session in the commodity market

Indian stock markets will remain closed on Tuesday (August 9) on account of Muharram. During this period, there will be no trading in stock, derivatives or currency segment on BSE and NSE.

On the other hand, on the occasion of Muharram in the commodity market, trading will be closed only in the morning session (from 9 am to 5 pm) on Tuesday (August 9). Trading will continue till evening session (5 pm to 11.30 pm). Similarly, trading will be done in NCDEX (National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited) from 5 PM to 9 PM.
