Indian stock market will remain closed on Wednesday on account of Diwali Balipratipada, so there will be no trading activity in the stock market today. According to the information available on the official website of BSE, on Wednesday, 26 October 2022, trading on BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) and NSE (National Stock Exchange) will be closed for the entire session.

According to the list of stock market holidays for 2022 on the official website of BSE, there will be no buy and sell in the equity segment, equity derivative segment and SLB segment of the stock market today. Meanwhile, trading in the currency derivatives segment and interest rate derivatives segment will also remain suspended today.

Coming to the Commodity Segment, all three markets of the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will not trade in the first half, while trading will take place in the second half on October 26, 2022 at 5 PM (evening session).

Earlier, the benchmark indices closed on the red mark on Tuesday after rising for seven consecutive days. During this, the BSE Sensex fell 287.70 points to 59,543.96, while the Nifty closed at 17,656, down 74 points. The next holiday in the stock market will be on the day of Guru Nanak Jayanti on November 8.
