There is very good news coming out for the people of Sri Lanka facing economic crisis. According to reports, the Sri Lankan state-owned Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has reduced the retail prices of diesel and petrol on Sunday. This is the first reduction in fuel prices after five hikes since February.
Retail prices of diesel and petrol in Sri Lanka have been reduced by Rs 20 each. Both were increased by Rs 50 and Rs 60 at the end of May. Along with this, the Lanka Indian Oil Company, a company with local operations of Indian Oil Company, also said that they will also reduce the prices of fuel.
