Sensex Opening Bell: Indian markets open in green, Sensex jumps up to 200 points, Nifty crosses 17400

The market is open in the green mark on the last trading day of the week. Sensex seems to be trading with a strength of about 200 points. On the other hand, Nifty has crossed the level of 17400. The Sensex is currently trading at 58,519 points in the opening trade. At the same time, Nifty is trading at the level of 17,445. The market seems to be gaining strength from the stocks of banks, IT and metal sectors. Meanwhile, shares of UltraTech Cement, Grasim, L&T and Bharti Airtel are emerging as top gainers.

Earlier on Friday (5 August 2022), there was a mixed trend in the global markets. On Thursday, the US market also showed a mixed trend. The Dow Jones slid up to 85 points while the Nasdaq gained 0.4 per cent.

On the other hand, SGX Nifty is trading with gains in Asian markets today. Today the job data for the month of July will come in America, the market will keep an eye on it. 2.5 lakh new jobs are estimated. Whereas, in June 3.7

Lakhs of people joined the job. Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) infused Rs 1,475 crore in cash on Thursday while Domestic Investors (DIIs) sold Rs 45 crore in Indian equity markets on Thursday.
