The Indian team suffered a major setback in the third T20 International against West Indies. India captain Rohit Sharma pulled a muscle near the waist while batting and he returned to the pavilion. He was playing on 11 runs in 5 balls with the help of a four and a six when he felt some problem in the back and he went towards the dugout with the medical team. The pain was clearly visible on his face.

Shreyas Iyer took the lead after his return. He was forced to retire early during India’s chase of 165 against West Indies in the third T20 International on Tuesday. Rohit took a six and a four off the delivery of Alzarri Joseph and ran for a run. This is where he was seen holding his waist.
