Business: Gold prices witnessed a rise on Tuesday due to heavy buying by retailers and jewelery manufacturers ahead of Dhanteras. In the national capital on Tuesday, gold prices rose by Rs 2850 and crossed the Rs 1.3 lakh per 10 gram mark for the first time.
According to the All India Bullion Association, gold of 99.9 per cent purity rose by Rs 2,850 to a record high of Rs 1,30,800 per 10 grams (including all taxes).
