MS Dhoni: Supreme Court sent notice to MS Dhoni in 150 crore transaction case, dispute is going on with Amrapali Group

A notice has been issued by the Supreme Court to former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. This notice has been issued to Dhoni over the ongoing dispute with Amrapali Group. This matter related to Dhoni came to the fore during the hearing held in the Supreme Court on July 25 regarding Amrapali Group. In this, Dhoni has demanded 150 crores from Amrapali Group. On the other hand, Amrapali Group is accused of not delivering the flats to its customers despite taking the amount. Thus, the matter is now going on in the court.

Earlier this dispute was going on in Delhi High Court. A committee was formed in the High Court under the leadership of retired Justice Veena Birbal regarding this matter. The purpose of this committee was to resolve the ongoing dispute between Amrapali Group and the customers. However, after that the matter went to the Supreme Court.

When the customers who booked the flats were presenting their demands before the committee set up by the High Court, Dhoni had also submitted a claim to the Amrapali Group to pay their dues of 150 crores. Dhoni was the brand ambassador of Amrapali. At the same time, the victims say that if Amrapali returns 150 crores to Dhoni, then there will be a shortage of funds, he will not be able to get the flat.

In this context, now the Supreme Court has issued notices to Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Amrapali Group, asking both to present their side. However, the Supreme Court has not stayed all mediation committee hearings or any kind of action.
