The celebration of Tiger Day started from the year 2010. An international conference was organized in Petersburg, Russia, in which it was decided to celebrate 29 July as World Tiger Day. 13 countries participated in this international summit. The theme of Tiger Day last year was “Their survival is in our hands.” At the same time, the theme of International Tiger Day 2022 is “India launches Project Tiger to revive the tiger population”.
