An IndiGo flight from Sharjah in UAE to Hyderabad made an emergency landing in Karachi, Pakistan after a technical glitch. All passengers on board the aircraft are safe. While giving information about the incident, Indigo Airlines said that after the pilot noticed a technical fault in the aircraft, as a precaution, the aircraft was diverted towards Karachi, Pakistan. An additional flight is being sent to Karachi to take the passengers to Hyderabad. This is the second Indian airline to land in Karachi in two weeks.
Earlier, emergency landing of SpiceJet aircraft was done in Karachi itself.
Let us inform that earlier on July 5, SpiceJet’s SG-11 flight from Delhi to Dubai made an emergency landing in Karachi, Pakistan itself after a technical fault. Giving information about the incident, a SpiceJet spokesperson had said that the SpiceJet B737 aircraft was diverted towards Karachi due to a technical fault in the indicator light. The plane landed safely in Karachi and the passengers were deboarded safely.
Indigo flight made emergency landing in Jaipur on July 14
At the same time, on the evening of July 14, an Indigo flight going from Delhi to Vadodara made an emergency landing in Jaipur. It was told that there was some technical fault in the aircraft, after which its emergency landing was made as a precaution. Significantly, in the last few days, there have been reports of emergency landing of many flights in India.
