This is a record for the last 12 years. In 2010 90 companies gave bonus. The record for declaring bonus this year may surpass 2018. That year 78 companies gave bonuses. Any company gives bonus when it makes better profits. Major companies offering bonus are IndianOil, Varun Beverages, Torrent Pharma, AU Small Finance, REC, Ajanta Pharma, Easy Trip and others. The profit of the companies has increased by 22% in the FY 2022.
