Here was the Indian men’s 5th T20I match against West Indies, where they forced the hosts to lose by 88 runs.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India has shared a picture on Twitter, in which the player was watching the gold medal match on his mobile while sitting in his dressing room. Captain Rohit Sharma had a mobile in his hand, while several players’ supporting staff members were standing around him. However, in this match, the Indian women’s team lost by 9 runs and had to be content with the silver medal.
Batting first, Australia scored 161 runs for 8 wickets in the match. For him, Beth Mooney scored the highest 61 runs, while captain Meg Lenning scored 36 runs. In reply, the Indian team was all out for 152 runs. Harmanpreet Kaur scored the most for her 65 runs, while Jemima Rodriguez scored 33 runs.
On the other hand, regular captain Rohit Sharma was resting in the 5th match against West Indies. He didn’t play the match. Hardik Pandya took the front in his place. Shreyas Iyer, who came to the opening, hit a strong half-century. India scored 188 runs for 7 wickets. In reply, the Windies team was bundled out for 100 runs.
