For CTET 2022, the system of normalization can be implemented in the examination to be held in December. In fact, the last time the system of normalization was implemented in CTET 2021 conducted in multiple shifts from 16 December 2021 to 21 January 2022. A few days before the conduct of CTET 2021, CBSE had issued a notice stating that the system of normalization can also be adopted to ensure fairness in this exam if the difficulty level of questions in different shifts is different. After this, the system of normalization was implemented in the examination held from 16 December to 21 January. Therefore, it is expected that if this time also this exam is held in more than one shift, then the system of normalization can be implemented in this also.

On which pattern the exam can be held:

There are two papers in CTET and 150 questions of total 150 marks are asked in both the papers. In CTET Paper 1, candidates are asked 30 questions from Child Development and Pedagogy, 30 questions from Language-1, 30 questions from Language-2, 30 questions from Mathematics and 30 questions from Environmental Studies. Whereas in Paper 2, 30 questions are asked from Child Development and Pedagogy, 30 questions from Language-1, 30 questions from Language-2 and 60 questions from Mathematics and Science or Social Studies and Social Science. In this exam, candidates get two and a half hours to solve each paper. It is expected that the next CTET may also be conducted on the same pattern.
