BCCI has made up its mind, Team India will go to Pakistan after 15 years, will it get approval from the Government of India?

New Delhi: No bilateral series has been played between India and Pakistan for a long time. Team India last went on a tour of Pakistan in the year 2008. After such a long gap, a good news is coming out for the Indo-Pak cricket fans. Actually Indian cricket team can tour Pakistan for Asia Cup 2023. Pakistan has got a chance to host Asia Cup 2023 and BCCI is ready to go to Pakistan for this tournament.

According to the report of Cricbuzz, the Indian team for the Asia Cup will be able to go to Pakistan only if it will get approval from the government. However, the Board of Control for Cricket in India has made it clear in its agenda that it wants to go to Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023. It has also been approved in the BCCI AGM meeting.

Bilateral is banned due to political issues

Whenever the teams of India and Pakistan meet each other on the cricket field, all limits of adventure are crossed there. However, this is seen only in a few selected tournaments. Because no bilateral series has been played between the two countries for a long time. The reason behind this is the political issue going on between the two. In such a situation, if the Indian team tours Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2023, then the relations between the two countries will improve and perhaps once again India and Pakistan will get to see the bilateral series.

India-Pakistan will clash in T20 World Cup

The clash between India and Pakistan is going to be held in Australia this month on 23 October. This will be the first match of both the teams in the T20 World Cup. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the fans of India and Pakistan for this match as these two teams are going to face each other for the third time in a span of few months. Earlier, in the Asia Cup played in UAE, there was a clash between India and Pakistan. In this tournament both the teams faced each other twice, in which India won once and Pakistan won once.

In such a situation, Team India will try to make a great start by winning the match against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup.
