IT major Tech Mahindra on Tuesday announced that it will employ 3000 people in Gujarat in the next five years. Let us tell you that Tech Mahindra is the fifth largest company in the country. Tech Mahindra on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Gujarat government as part of its IT/ITES (IT Enabled Services) policy.

The company’s Managing Director and Chief Executive CP Gurnani said that this agreement will enable the company to meet the changing engineering needs of enterprises. He also appreciated the state government for providing ease of doing business.

An official statement issued by the company said that the government has so far signed 15 MoUs with domestic and global companies under the IT/ITES policy, which will create about 26,750 skilled IT employment opportunities in the state.
