Hobart: Today is the fourth day of the T20 World Cup. In the first round Group B match, there was a tussle between West Indies and Zimbabwe. Batting first after winning the toss, West Indies put 153 runs on the scoreboard. In this do or die match, almost all Caribbean stalwarts failed. The shattered innings got support from Rovman Powell and Akil Hossein. Powell scored 28 runs in 21 balls. He also hit two sixes in this innings, which came in the last over of the innings. When Powell hit the second six in this over of Zimbabwe pacer Blessing Mujarbani, the people’s mouths were left wide open.
Aqeel Hossain’s mouth was left open
Actually, the third ball of the last over was kept short by Mujarbani. Already standing on the back foot, Powell was waiting for this ball. The bat from full swing had a great connection with the ball. This six, which was hit with full force, fell outside the stadium 104 meters away, after which the reaction of Aqeel Hossain standing at the non-strike end was worth watching. Hossain kept looking at the distance of this six for 8 seconds and during this his mouth remained wide open. Akil Hossain remained unbeaten on 23 off 18 balls. The video is becoming fiercely viral on social media.
