Pujara scored his second consecutive century in the competition, scoring 107 off 79 balls against Warwickshire on Friday. His thrilling knock of 174 runs took Sussex to 378/6 in 50 overs. Pujara also shared a 205-run partnership with Tom Clarke, who also put on 104 runs for the third wicket. After Clarke’s dismissal, Pujara continued to attack the Surrey bowlers. Before he was dismissed in the 48th over, 74 runs came off his last 28 balls with the bat. His effort was enough for Sussex to bowl out Surrey for 162 runs and win the match by a huge margin of 216 runs.
