Friend of IPL’s ‘enemy’, Ambani’s team made partner, Mumbai will give strength to Cape Town

Cape Town: Afghanistan’s star spinner Rashid Khan, South African pacer Kagiso Rabada and England batsman Liam Livingstone will play for Mumbai Cape Town in the first season of the Cricket South Africa T20 League. Devald Brevis, who played for Mumbai in the IPL, and England all-rounder Sam Curran have also been bought directly by the team.

Rashid plays for Gujarat Titans in IPL, Rabada and Livingstone for Punjab Kings and Karan for CSK. Akash Ambani, owner of Mumbai Cape Town said, “We have moved towards building a strong core team like the Mumbai Indians. I am happy to welcome Rashid, Kagiso, Liam, Sam.
