Banks will remain closed for five days between August 8 and August 15. This means banking operations will be held for only three days this week. Banks will remain closed on August 9 due to Muharram

There will be a Muharram holiday in the bank on Tuesday (August 9). After that Friday (August 12) will be a holiday for Raksha Bandhan. In some places, August 11 will also be a holiday for Raksha Bandhan. Banks will remain closed on 13th August being the second Saturday of the month of August. On August 14, being a Sunday, there will be a holiday in the banks. However, branches that open on Sundays will remain open on this day. The next day on August 15, the branches of banks will remain closed on the occasion of Independence Day.

Janmashtami holidays will be in banks on 18th and 19th August

After this week, there will be a bank holiday on August 18 (Thursday) and August 19 (Friday) on account of Janmashtami. The next holiday will be on August 27 as it is the fourth Saturday of the month. August 28 will be a Sunday so banks will remain closed.
