The application process for the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2022 being conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) in the state is over. The commission had sought applications from the candidates between 28 June 2022 to 31 July to take part in this eligibility test. PET is a very important exam for the candidates preparing for competitive exams in the state. Actually, only those candidates will get a chance to appear in the Group C recruitment of UPSSSC in Uttar Pradesh, who will appear in PET. This exam is being conducted for the second time. Earlier this exam was conducted on 24th August 2021 and its scorecard was released on 28th October 2021. Score well in PET is very important for the aspirants aspiring to join the Group C jobs of UPSSSC. To prepare better for the PET, the candidates must know about the key success points. If you practice these five topics, you will get 50 marks:
Candidates appearing in PET are to be asked 100 questions of 100 marks from a total of 15 subjects. However, the candidates appearing in this exam can score 50 marks by practicing only 5 topics correctly. Actually, in this exam, 20 questions of 20 marks from General Awareness and Current Affairs and 30 marks from 3 topics like Analysis of Unread Passage, Graph Interpretation and Table Interpretation Analysis will be asked from the candidates. So the candidates can score 50 marks in this exam by practicing these 5 topics.
Where will the questions be asked:
In the General Awareness Section of PET 2022 you will be asked India’s Neighbors, Countries – Capitals and Currencies, Indian States and Union Territories, Indian Parliament: Rajya Sabha, Lok Sabha and Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council, National and International Days, World Organizations and Headquarters, Indian Tourist Places, Indian Questions will be asked from topics like Art and Culture, Indian and World Sports, Indian Research Institutes, Famous Books and Authors, Awards and Winners and Climate Change and Environment. While preparing for the current affairs section of this exam, candidates must keep an eye on the current affairs of India and the world. Whereas in Analysis of Unread Passage, questions are asked from 2 passages and each of these passages has 5 questions. Similarly in Graph Interpretation 2 graphs come and each of these graphs has 5 questions and from Table Interpretation Analysis also 2 tables come and in this there are 5 questions on each table.
