CBI: CBI screws on OSL MD’s son, famous Mishra arrested after interrogation

The CBI has arrested Chichit Mishra, son of industrialist and OSL Company (Orissa Stevedores Ltd), Mahimanand Mishra, in connection with a bribe of Rs 25 lakh related to an officer of Paradip Port Trust. Let us inform that on Saturday, the famous Mishra had reached the CBI office in Bhubaneswar on being called.

Earlier, the CBI had named Mishra as an accused in the Rs 25 lakh bribery case involving the Chief Mechanical Engineer of Paradip Port.

Charges have been framed against Mishra, known by the CBI, under sections 7,8,10, 12 of the Prevention of Corruption Act and 120 (b) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

Apart from Mishra, the CBI has also arrested five others including a Chief Mechanical Engineer of Paradip Port Trust, Odisha. Let us inform that earlier, the director of Osal Company, Chichit Mishra had reached the CBI office at four in the morning.
