Dhoni’s medicine of 150 crore dues on Amrapali
When the customers who booked the flats were presenting their demands before the committee set up by the High Court, Dhoni had also submitted a claim to the Amrapali Group to pay their dues of 150 crores. Dhoni was the brand ambassador of Amrapali. At the same time, the victims say that if Amrapali returns 150 crores to Dhoni, then there will be a shortage of funds, he will not be able to get the flat.
In this context, now the Supreme Court has issued notices to Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Amrapali Group, asking both to present their side. However, the Supreme Court has not stayed all mediation committee hearings or any kind of action.
Dhoni’s connection with Amrapali Group
Dhoni was associated with Amrapali Group as an ambassador in the year 2016. During this, he shot many ads for the group. Meanwhile, Amrapali Group was accused of not giving flats to customers despite taking money. There was a lot of protest about this and the matter reached the court.
At the same time, a campaign was run on social media regarding Dhoni. Seeing the growing controversy, Dhoni decided to withdraw from the Amrapali group. After this dispute between the customers and Amrapali Group went to court, Dhoni also talked about the dues of 150 crores of his brand ambassador as fees from the group.
