Chhavi Mittal wrote, ‘Today my heart is beating fast, because today I complete three months of breast cancer surgery. I am extremely happy with the progress I have made and pat my back for the positivity. But mostly proud of the things I first learned about cancer through the experience of my other Cancer peers. Some of them are the fact that sometimes it is curable and healing is slow, but like they say, there is light at the end of the tunnel, chemo and radiation can affect your hair, but they should affect the soul. should not be allowed to do so.’

Chhavi further wrote, ‘Most importantly, your disease may not be under your control, but you can definitely control it. I have seen so many cancer patients go straight to work after chemo. I have heard many caregivers use words like “poor” for cancer patients. Please do not do this!
