Ingredients for making Sabudana Khichdi
Sabudana, boiled potatoes, roasted peanuts, curry leaves, one inch long piece of ginger, two to three green chilies, cumin seeds, freshly grated coconut, sugar, one teaspoon lemon juice, two teaspoons desi ghee, rock salt as per taste.
How to make Sabudana Khichdi
In making sabudana khichdi, sabudana is often stuck in the pan. In such a situation, if you want to make fluffy and non-sticky sago khichdi, then follow these tips also. Soak the sabudana in water for at least two to three hours. When the sabudana gets soaked, filter it and keep it aside. Now peel the boiled potatoes. Also, roast the peanuts and take out the peel.
Peel the peanuts and grind them. Now mix peanut powder, salt in the puffed sabudana well. Heat a pan on the gas. When the pan becomes hot, add desi ghee and heat it. Then add cumin seeds in it. When cumin seeds crackle, add green chilies. Grate ginger together and put it. Also add potatoes cut into pieces and fry. After frying well, add sabudana to it. Roast it well and wait for the sabudana to become transparent. Then turn off the gas and serve hot by adding green coriander and lemon juice.
