AKASA AIR: First flight service between Mumbai-Ahmedabad from August 7, booking of tickets started

Akasa Air has issued a statement saying that it has started selling tickets for 28 weekly flights. These flights will be operated between Mumbai and Ahmedabad from August 7. In addition, 28 weekly flights will be operated on the Bengaluru and Kochi routes from August 13. The sale of their tickets has also started.

Akasa Air has said it will begin its commercial operations with two 737 MAX aircraft. According to Akasa, Boeing has given them the delivery of one Max aircraft and the delivery of the second aircraft is due by the end of this month.

Praveen Iyer has said that we will take a phased approach to implement our network expansion plans, we will gradually start our flights between more cities one after the other. We plan to add two aircraft to our fleet every month.
