Industry body Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) said that it is ready to give 5G spectrum to private tech companies without making provisions like regulatory compliance and fees imposed on telecom service companies. The government will start auctioning spectrum from July 26.

This statement of COAI comes after Adani company’s participation in spectrum auction. Adani Group will participate in the auction of 5G spectrum. It will use the spectrum to set up a private network for its business.
